It’s a Celebration of Friendship

Two may talk together under the same roof for many years yet never really meet, and two others at first speech at old friends.

For plenty of people, three years is not enough to build a very strong relationship, more so a friendship. It becomes much shorter if friends come from different walks of life.

Cebu Bloggers Society, though, is of a different breed. After three years, it has established itself as one of the most formidable new media organizations. But more than that, it has become a home, a refuge, for its more-than-30-strong members.

I couldn’t really express my gratitude for being part of this family. They may be bloggers, writers, lawyers, doctors, students, mothers, or husbands to others, but they are friends to me. They have helped me grow as a person and explore my abilities more. I thank them for the different opportunities they have given me to prove my worth and bow down to their self-less dedication not only to the organization but to everyone who is part of it.

The future is uncertain for everyone, so I can only hope–hope that nothing would cause the organization to fall apart, nothing would get in the way of the friendship.

PS: Last February 19, 2011, CBS celebrated its third anniversary at PAGCOR Casino Filipino Parkmall Satellite Branch. We’d like to thank their courteous and reliable staff, especially Mr. Renato Z. Osmena Jr., their manager. Gracias too to Holister Incorporated for the setup, sound system, and tables and chairs used in the affair.
